The person that I chose and admire is a wonderfull german coreographer and dancer: Pina Bausch
She was born in Solingen Germany in 1940, pionner in the contemporany dance and so relacionated with theater dance, she studied in the Juilliard school and also whit a lot of different important dancers at the time.
She worked like I said with theatre dance,performance and the German expressionism dance , so the expression of sentiments are really important in their dance and pieces , even more when her teacher was Kurt Joss ( the prinicpal exponent of expressionist dance).
About her work like choreographer she is really recognized for a lot of pieces, one of them that I like the most is the spring consagration, you must see them !! the work whit the sentiments, the colors, the movement, the drama and the escenography I think all is amazing, also one of piece that I love and she is a dancer is Muller coffee, a great dance work !
By the 1970s She funded a company, the tanztheater Wuppertal, now wit dancer that continue the legacy of Pina, after her died in 2009.
A brilliante dancer, winner of many national and international awards, in our country winner of ''orden al merito artístico cultural Pablo Neruda'', the realtion with our country is important even that she was inspired in chili for created a dance piece called ''como el musgito en la piedra, ay sísísí''
I really admire Pina Bausch, her legacy and concept of contemporany dance

I known her in ''historia del arte'' and like you said is very interesting how she see and express the dance.
